Land Rover monthly is truly a magazine for enthusiasts of this great British vehicle, written by enthusiasts. The Land Rover has been a part of Britain's motoring heritage for more than 60 years and a huge number of Land Rovers dating back to 1948 are in the hands of enthusiasts around the world. LRM caters for their many and varied interests through its broad coverage of Modifications, Technical, Travel, Classic and Heritage vehicles, Global stories, Buying and Selling. LRM's Technical section is written by the foremost author of Land Rover technical manuals in the country. Around 20 authors and writers contribute to LRM every month reflecting the wide range of views and opinions in the Land Rover 'community' and the photography, from all corners of the globe, is often stunning. The Market
The Land Rover market is huge in the UK and
spreads around the globe. Owners and enthusiasts are continually
modifying and customising their vehicles as well as carrying out DIY
repair and servicing or visiting local independent specialists.
As
many as 60 percent of all Land Rovers ever built are believed to still
be on the road and worldwide enthusiast interest spreads from
restoration and renovation of the oldest, 1948 Land Rovers to straight
out of the showroom Discoverys and Range Rovers.
The market for
accessories and add-ons continues to grow as newer Land Rovers fall in
value to affordable levels for enthusiasts who then want to customise
them to their own requirements – you'll never see two Land Rovers the
same.
The Magazine
Launched in 1998, LRM has grown steadily to a position of great strength in the Land Rover market thanks to our ability to reach a growing readership who actively purchase, modify, restore and maintain their vehicles. Our classified section is second to none and is a major draw for readers.
The Reader
We are particularly proud of the quality of LRM’s
readership, attracted to the magazine by the most experienced Land Rover
magazine editor in the business heading up a team of leading experts
writing on their specialist subjects.
Readers are predominantly
enthusiasts and owners of older Land Rovers, from superbly restored 1949
classics, to mud, sweat and gears ‘Challenge Truck’ off-roader specials
and everything in between.
Land Rover enthusiasts tend to be
collectors and most households have two or three Land Rover vehicles in
the drive (or in bits in the back garden). The majority are actively
DIY.
Stats
LRM’s latest figures show another solid UK
retail growth of more than 5% YoY (Aug 08-Jul 09 vs. Aug 07-Jul 08).
LRM
is at 339 in the WH Smith National Rankings (up 27 places YoY) and is
the second best selling magazine in the segment.
A Unique
Advertising Opportunity
The continued growth in readership of LRM
during more than eleven highly successful years of publishing has led to
more than 200 businesses regularly promoting their products and
services in each issue.
LRM’s steady growth in all areas is a
clear indication of the magazine’s effectiveness in the market place.
