Global success for Dennis Publishing as Know Your Mobile smashes through one million users a month

Dennis Publishing can today announce the success of its mobile phone specialist brand, Know Your Mobile, with record traffic on its UK, US and Indian sites. The online publisher, who most recently launched the US version of the site in December 2009, www.knowyourcell.com, has seen unrivalled growth of traffic on one of its newest pure-play online brands.
Know Your Mobile has become the UK’s fastest growing mobile phone website since its launch in 2007, with user figures approaching a million a month. The US version – Know Your Cell – which already attracts over a quarter of a million users a month, can currently boast the fastest traffic growth of any website launch in Dennis Publishing’s history. Know Your Mobile India, launched in February 2009, has reached over one hundred thousand users a month.
The Know Your Mobile family of sites provides practical information for mobile phone users, offering reviews, themes, downloads, user guides, tech specs and contract/tariff comparison for consumers. The sites are populated with video and images of handsets, accessories, user guides and app reviews. The layout allows visitors to find the information they need at the touch of a button as well as providing interactive buying wizards and user guides to help them decide what phone to buy and how to get the best out of it.
The websites have attracted a strong following of users under the age of 34 who are in the market to buy or upgrade to a new phone or contract, as well as buying accessories and apps in this fast-growing mobile phone economy. The user-friendly content and readership-retention on the sites have attracted advertisers from all major mobile phone network providers such as Vodafone, O2 and Orange, retailers such as Phone4U and Carphone Warehouse and all major phone manufacturers.
