-Viz ‘Blaps’ out now on the Channel 4 website-

Channel 4 has unveiled exclusive new Viz ‘Blaps’ (online mini episodes) made by Baby Cow Animation. The first episode hosted by Roger Mellie has been going down a storm, the second episode hosted by Sandra & Tracy (The Fat Slags) has just gone live. 

 Featuring the voices of Steve Coogan, Sarah Millican, Simon Greenall and Gavin Webster, it’s directed by Tim Searle (‘I Am Not An Animal’, ‘2DTV’, ‘Horrible Histories’) and actual Viz cartoonist Alex Collier, with a load of brand new material written by the Viz team.

 These Blaps truly reflect the irreverent joy, variety and the anarchy of Viz. Each of the Viz Blaps is a jam-packed blast through the animated character sketches, the Profanisaurus, ‘photolove’-strips, fake ad’s, Top Tips and other daft stuff.

 "As regular Viz readers know, over the years I've come up with many great television shows, such as ‘Topless Question Time’, ‘Britain's Got Piles’ and my personal favourite ‘Who the F**K Do You Think You Are?’ - which brought together two of my own passions, genealogy and cage fighting. However, it's fair to say that my ideas have met with limited success at best, so it's great to be working with Baby Cow on a project that actually stands a chance of getting onto the screen." - Roger Mellie OBE
