Marketing & Events Co-ordinator - Wollaston

Our Wollaston office is home to our Specialist motoring division, which consists of market leading titles Evo, Octane, and Land Rover Monthly.
We are now looking to appoint a talented individual to provide focus and support in the delivery of marketing and event initiatives across these three titles.
To thrive in this role, you'll need to love variety, work independently, communicate well and be super organised. We are looking for a motivated individual who can show creativity and be willing to throw themselves in at the deep-end. As a publishing company we are involved in some exciting projects, including live events, social media, iPad and smart phone applications. Your role will be to help deliver marketing activities across all these areas.
You probably won’t have experience within the publishing world but will have a proven ability to work under pressure and prioritise. You may have an interest in cars, but more importantly you will have a thirst for learning and a keenness to get involved.
The diversity of this role means you will be involved in many aspects of the company and will be a key part of the team at Wollaston. You will also be expected to travel to London to liaise with various publishing teams at our head office.
Key responsibilities involve:
- Delivery of marketing plans for a variety of publishing media (magazines, websites, iPad applications etc)
- Provision and analysis of market and competitor information
- Marketing and delivery of Brand events sch as track days, Awards Dinner etc.
- Development of data acquisition projects such as competitions
- Liaison with subscriptions, retail, and production teams to support the implementation of marketing activities.
You will need:
- An understanding of how marketing can be used across various mediums
- understanding of Microsoft excel and Word
- a good dose of common sense
- the desire to make a real difference in a small team, and to have some fun along the way
