A brand new monthly magazine The Week Junior Science+Nature is being launched by the award-winning team behind The Week Junior. National sale from 1st September 2018.

The magazine is designed to make sense of the universe and it uses the innovative editorial techniques of its big brother The Week Junior to unlock the world of science and nature. It is designed to ignite discovery, inspire exploration and stimulate experiments in 8- to 15-year-olds. Every issue is jam-packed with wonder; taking readers on a voyage of discovery, from the depths of the oceans to the outer reaches of the cosmos, and from the days of the dinosaurs to our high-tech future. The  eight page practical The Lab section features experiments and activities, as well as a monthly guide to the night sky for young stargazers. Plus, a double-sided giant poster comes free with every issue.

Since its launch in November 2015, The Week Junior has gone from strength to strength and is now one of the fastest growing magazines in the UK with a 29.1% y-o-y  increase at the last ABC. Anna Bassi, Editor-in-Chief of The Week Junior said, “I am delighted to introduce this new title. The ongoing success of The Week Junior has proved that there is a huge public appetite for in-depth, high-quality, factual content for young people and our fantastic new launch, Science+Nature offers readers the opportunity to explore these topics in even more depth.”

Dan Green, Editor of Science+Nature and author of the bestselling Basher Science books, said, “I’m immensely proud of Science+Nature. Our talented team have put in an enormous amount of work and it really shows. Knowledge is power – we’ve brought together the best writers and experts to ensure that our readers get clear, accurate and fascinating information in a format that you genuinely can’t find anywhere else.”

The magazine will be available to purchase from select WH Smiths, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Tesco, Tesco Eire and good independents. You can also subscribe at sciencenature.theweekjunior.co.uk and pay just £19.99 every 6 issues – 16% less than the price in store.
